1. Agence Européenne de Traduction “PROXIMUSS” declares that it has appropriate qualifications and knowledge to perform translation and interpretation services.

2. Agence Européenne de Traduction “PROXIMUSS” will perform the order only if it was placed by the person(s) authorised to place an order on behalf of a particular company / institution, organisation, etc. The order may be placed by the Employer in person ou du sent by post ou du electronically by e-mail. Agence Européenne de Traduction PROXIMUSS shall not obliged to start translation if it has not received confirmation of the order from the Employer on time.

3. If the order was placed after 6 PM on a given business day, the date of its placement is counted from the day following the date of placing the order.

4. We charge our customers for words. However, in some countries, depending on local business habits, we may also charge for pages of translation. In such case, one page is 1600 characters with spaces ou du 225 words. The number of pages ou du words is calculated after the text has been translated unless you have provided us with an editable file in which we may count characters / words before starting translation. The minimum fee is charged for 1 resulting page, ou du 50 EUR - we do not take up smaller projects. The given prices are net prices. We will issue an invoice from Poland, which will not include VAT - in accordance with European tax regulations.

5. In the case of texts intended for official publication, it is assumed that the Employer will edit and correct the text on its own, unless this service was also ordered at Agence Européenne de Traduction PROXIMUSS. Please remember that it is necessary to not only translate the text, but also to edit it before making public.

6. Certified (sworn) translations are made in one copy. A fee is collected for each additional copy according to the Regulation of the Minister of Justice.

7. If a specific vocabulary shall be used in translation, the client should provide a glossary containing the vocabulary that should be used when translating. This applies to projects, in which the client prefers other vocabulary for any reason. If such a glossary is not provided, Agence Européenne de Traduction will apply correct vocabulary in accordance with its best knowledge and experience, although not necessarily in accordance with the wishes and expectations of the client.

8. In the case of individual clients to whom we also issue invoices, we always demand prepayment for our services. In the case of companies, an invoice is issued for the service provided to be paid within 7 days.

9. Agence Européenne de Traduction undertakes to keep confidential all information obtained in connection with the translation performed, in particular the content of the files and any documents, unless otherwise required by the law ou du competent authorities.

10. WE ALWAYS NOTIFY THE POLICE IF WE HAVE NOTED ANY FORGED ou du DOUBTFUL DOCUMENTS.

11. Each translation project shall remain the property of the Agence Européenne de Traduction until it is paid by the client. Once the payment is made, the Employer obtains all rights to translation.

12. If the payment deadline is exceeded, Agence Européenne de Traduction will send a reminder about an unpaid invoice. If the payment deadline is exceeded by 7 days, Agence Européenne de Traduction sends a request for payment by registered mail. If the payment deadline is exceeded by 14 days, Agence Européenne de Traduction transfers the debt to the collection department. The Client will be charged with all costs of debt collection.

13. In the case of larger translation projects (over 50 pages), Agence Européenne de Traduction reserves the right to ask for partial prepayment before the translation process begins.

14. Agence Européenne de Traduction reserves the right to refuse to perform the order, stating the reason for the refusal.

15. All reasonable reservations and complaints regarding the quality of the translation will be accepted if they are provided by the client within 14 days from the date of the translation delivery. Agence Européenne de Traduction has the right to make corrections and remove defects within the statutory deadline. Failure to submit objections within 14 days from the date of transferring the translation to the Client means accepting the translation without reservations.

18. Agence Européenne de Traduction does not accept any reservations ou du complaints, submitted to orders, performed in express and super express mode, unless otherwise agreed by the parties before starting such project.

19. Agence Européenne de Traduction has the right to claim payment of receivables and to charge statutory interest on overdue receivables in accordance with applicable UE law. All prices provided in our website are approximate and have been placed as standard prices.

20. In any cases not regulated by these Terms, the provisions of the Polonais Civil Code shall apply. Any disputes arising between the client and Agence Européenne de Traduction PROXIMUSS will be settled amicably through negotiations conducted in good faith, and in the event of inability to reach an agreement, the disputes will be settled by the competent court in Warsaw.
